As a Health Services Coordinator for a Charter School, I had the privilege of assisting with implementing a new meal servicer to our school.

It was my pleasure to introduce Gourmet Gorilla to our students. The quality and caliber of healthy nutrient dense meals were impressive.

As a Health Promotion Teacher I am always looking for ways and programs that assist children with nutrition strategies. 

 

Food Explorer Club is an app that was created by parents of picky-eaters. The program creates a game of nutrition.

 

It encourages them to eat more fruits, vegetables, and expose them to new foods. The program is meant to be fun, exciting, and reward-based. Kids earn badges and points for new foods and good food choices. 

​

The app is easy to manuever and is solely controlled by parents, who set the foods, that kiddies can earn badges and points from.

Impressions:

As a Health Services Coordinator and responsible for School Health. I often ordered supplies from School Health,

as a parent company, I was suprised to find out they have another School Fitness/PE related company, Palos Sports. 

​

Palo Sports provides fitness related equipment, games and adaptive PE equipment. They just created at-home/hybrid PE kits that can be useful during this COVID time.   

​

The company also provides a Free Resource for PE Teachers, that coordinate lessons with equipment. 

​
